Shruthi Sulappa
Shruthi Sulappa, a class X student of Mary Immaculate School in Bangalore, has bagged the Gold Medal of the National Child Awards for Exceptional Achievement for her extraordinary and outstanding artistic talent in drawing and painting.Shruthi’s oil painting on canvas titled ‘Milk Maid’ had beaten two million entries from 148 countries to be included among the Top 10 in the ‘International Environmental Poetry and Art Contest 2008’ organised by the “River of Words”, a Berkeley (USA) based NGO.She has been awarded Certificates of Excellence by ‘International Child Art Foundation, USA’ and was also awarded a unique individual prize by Slovenia. She has also exhibited her paintings in London and Germany. A little genius in mathematics, she has been asked by several institutions to take mathematics classes due to his extraordinary knowledge of the subject.
