Worker,s University

Government is planning an exculusive university for unorganized workers and their childrens.unorganised workers comprise 90 percent of total workforce.it will be first of this kind in country.in the erstwhile USSR ,Petrograd Zinoview University was for workers.A college was established solely for workers in Oxford University and a workers University in Germany is still functional.it proposed 60 percent seats reserved for industrial workers,15 percent rural unorganized workers,landless and marginal farmers,10 percent for rural artisan and 15 percent for others categories.Unversity will offer three years degree courses,diploma,post-graduates, MBA and MCA.It will have provision for distance and vocational education also.it proposed in formal stream,has 3120 seats.for part time courses,and vistance mode there will be 20280 and 72000 seats respectively.it has headquater at Hyderbad with three regional center.This University was suggested by a headed by G Sanjeeva president of Indian National Trade Union.
