DU Admission
The admission process in DU commenced on Monday with common admission OMR (Optical Mark Reader) forms made available to the students at fifteen Admission Information Centres across the capital.more than 25,000 common pre-admission forms were sold at all the 15 admission information centres in the Capital on the very first day comprising 3500 which were sold alone at Arts Faculty.Apart from the Integrated Centralised Registration (ICR) forms, colleges are allowed to sale forms at personal level.As per the Supreme Court's order and the Centre's direction, the varsity has introduced provision for the OBC students in a separate column of the form. The Delhi University will implement nine percent OBC quota this year followed by the 18 percent next year to achieve the total 27 percent the third year. The varsity has also enhanced its seats by eighteen percent to keep the seats for general students intact.Students, aspiring for under-graduate courses can purchase and submit admission forms till June 16. The first cut-off list will be announced on June 26 followed by subsequent cut-off lists on the later date. The DU's new academic session will start on July 16
