IIST ADMISSION

Indian Institute Of Space Science and Technology ( IIST) announces the Student Counselling for admission to its academic programme on july 17-18 ,2008.IIST is deemed to be university set up under Department of Space and offers undergraduate B.Tec programme in Avonics,Aerospace and 5 year integrated masters in Applied Science.Student placed in the extended merit list IIT-JEE-2008 and primary merit list of IIT-JEE -2008 are invited to register their names , to seek admission into Institute.Based on the online registration and merit order , a combined list of student from extended and primary merit list who have not been allotted any seat by iit-jee in its counselling will be generated for counseling .Reqired number of students , in order of merit , from combined merit list will be invited for counseling on july 17-18.Final list of candidates to be invited for counselling will be announced on Website on 4th july.Admission will be completed on 9-10 August. Commencement of class will be on 11 August 2008.
