All-India ICSE topper

Fifteen-year-old Janaki Seth of Thane’s Sulochanadevi Singhania School topped the Class 10 all-India ICSE board exam with 98.28 per cent.Janaki is also a Bharatnatyam dancer with five years of experience.she had perfect scores in history and computers She shares the rank with Shruti Singh from St Joseph’s Convent School in Varanasi. Shruti has an elder brother who is studying at IIT-Delhi.Shruti's mother Usha Singh is a homemaker while her father Amrendra Singh is an accountant with a nationalised bank.Her mother Usha and father Armendra Singh, said that they expected her to top at state level, "but being all-India topper is amazing.Shruti secured full marks in two subjects -Computers and Environmental Science. Shruti said she did not opt for any coaching or study material other than the prescribed books.she aspire to become a scientist.Gaurav Sood from Doon School in Dehradun topped with 99 per cent. This is the first time that the ICSE board has announced its toppers.
