Boys outclassed girls to find merit positions in Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (CPMT)-2008, results of which were declared here Wednesday by Lucknow University.Only 25 girls have found place in the top 100 positions of the merit list.Tauhid Ahmad, a student from Mau district, topped the examination, securing 185 marks out of 200.About 74,000 students appeared in the CPMT conducted for admissions to various medical colleges of the CPMT, seven out of top ten candidates are from the OBC category and 40 in top 100. Only two girls could make it to the top ten. Akshita from Muzaffarnagar at third place and Shraddha Shahu from Noida at sixth rank and both were OBCs.
