out of the 2,71,525 registered candidates in the engineering stream 2,65,660 candidates took the examination while 77,143 candidates appeared for the medical stream out of the 80,180 candidates who registered. The attendance percentage was 97.84 per cent for engineering and 96.25 for medical stream.after the initial key of Eamcet-2008 was released, confusion reigned supreme. Teachers of private colleges have raised objections to nine questions in both the engineering and medical papers of the EAMCET this year.Eamcet convener said that suggestions from all stake-holders would be considered till May 18.Eamcet-'08 results are likely to be released on May 22.
